Posted on Updated on

During a short caravan trip in Queensland, Australia, I saw things that reminded me of the amazing people and places that our author (and keen traveller), Dr. Charles Margerison has written about.

As I discovered, these wonderful and inspiring stories stay with you. It is no wonder that Dr Charles became so dedicated to writing BioView® stories about them, thus keeping history and its’ amazing people…. ‘alive’.

Camping at Seventeen Seventy (1770), our walk took us up high around the perimeter of the cliffs overlooking the ocean. This is the sight of the second landing of Captain James Cook on May 24,1770. The community of 1770 hold the re-enactment of this historic landing in May each year as part of the annual 1770 Festival.
