Posted on Updated on

Did you know September is Women of Achievement month?

This is a great month to highlight famous women from all over the world and share their success stories with your female students. These moving and compelling stories are for our generation to look upon as role models and to entice them to aim high and reach for their dreams.

We all have dreams of some degree. Whether your students are athletic, academic or artistic they all need reassurance that they can reach their goals.

In this era, how do we inspire and encourage young girls? Sometimes our generation don’t really want to hear us talking about what they can achieve – they want PROOF! And we have proof. From all those amazing people in history that overcame many obstacles to succeed. We have far more resources available now so these stories are valid and important lessons. It wasn’t easy for them.

Amazing WomenStudents can choose a famous woman from our Amazing Women series who they may aspire to and produce a short article on their life. What did they do? Who helped them? Why do they think that person succeeded? What were their obstacles? How did they get around them? So many questions to be answered!
